Photoshop :: Scrolling Past Canvas Edges When Zoomed
2138 Best Photo Edges Free Vector Art Downloads from the Vecteezy community. Photo Edges Free Vector Art licensed under creative commons, open source, and more! Login; photo. Vector Rough Photo Edges Set Photo Edges Filmstrip Vector. I am trying to soften the hard edges of a photo, ideally where they soften out to a transparent edge. So things may be a bit different in your version or if you have a Mac. Get a blurred edge around the photo in the color of the background color in the color palette. It is not transparent.
Mar 30, 2006I often work with very large images (300dpi, with both geographical space and file size very large) since I'm often printing these images for print / direct marketing campaigns or signage. The image I'm working on now, for example, is 255MB / 44' x 42' @ 300 DPI. That's a big picture! So, sometimes I need to work in detail at the edge of a document. That's where the problem comes in:
When I'm zoomed in at say 100%, while working with that 44' by 42' image, obviously I must scroll around to get access to other areas of the image and display them on the screen. However, if I try to use the Hand tool for instance and drag up so I bring the canvas up and expose some part of the gray outside (and thus exposing the edge plus some blank space for me to work on, just like you'd do in Flash or whatever other programs.) When I try to do that with PhotoShop CS2, it will bring the image to the edge of the image's window, but not allow me to drag it even further like you'd be able to do at say a zoom level of 50% or smaller.
Can I enable this feature so I can drag images and move them into the window display but also show some of the exterior of the canvas so that I can work in great zoomed detail but at the leading edge in 100% zoom mode?

Lightroom :: Muddy Exports After Adjustment Brush Use
Oct 28, 2013I am using LR4 and have used the adjustment brush for its many uses. 2 Days ago, I discovered that after using the adjustment brush on a RAW file and exporting it to a JPEG, the image looks awful!! its muddy, unpixelated and colors are washed out. Is this a setting that needs to be reset? How can I stop this from happening?
Lightroom :: Choppy / Zig Zag Movement On Zoomed In Image?
Nov 12, 20121-week-old MacBook Pro - Non-Retina - OSX 10.8.2 / 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 / 8GB RAM / 750GB HD (currently 522GB free space)
I initially discovered my issue in Photoshop CS6, but just installed the trial of LR 4.2, as well as 4.3RC, to see if the problem persisted, and it does. My problem is choppy/zig-zagging movement when moving around (two-fingered scrolling using my trackpad) on a zoomed-in image. Here's a video capture of the problem in Photoshop - and it does the exact same thing in LR. Solution is to use a mouse instead of a trackpad.so useful. [URL].The image in this video is just a jpg, quite small in file size.
I have adjusted every single scrolling/trackpad option in System Preferences, tried enabling and disabling automatic graphics switching in Energy Saver Preferences, changed all Performance Preferences in PS. I've also installed all Apple and Adobe updates.

Lightroom :: How To Scroll Image Left And Right When Zoomed In
Jun 16, 2013Lightroom 4.3, Win 7 64 bit
I am trying to edit an Adjustment Brush in the Develop module.
I want to fine tune the coverage area for the brush.
I can use Ctrl +/- keys to zoom in/out, and the Page Up/Down keys to scroll up and down when zoomed in, but there does not seem to be any way to scroll right and left when zoomed in. The key shortcut lists I've seen don't list anything for scroll left and right. How to scroll the image left and right when zoomed in ?

Lightroom :: Zoomed View When Crop / Straighten?
Jan 19, 2013I'm new to Lightoom but learning quickly. One thing that has given me a problem is in develop module when I wish to straighten and crop, but need to do this zoomed in on the image. Can't judge the straightening otherwise. When I try this as soon as hit the straighten tool the image goes to fit to screen and I can no longer judge my straightening.
Photoshop :: Printing Out Of CS5 - Dark / Muddy Prints?
Jan 9, 2013 I am having trouble getting good prints when printing out of CS5. I have taken all of the calibration and profiling steps and my prints are coming out very dark and muddy.
I am printing on an Epson Pro 7800 and I am a Mac user (OS X 10.6.8). I contacted Epson and they suggested printing out of Preview and the images looked far better which, they suggested, points to something in Photoshop that is causing the problem.

Paint Shop Pro :: Faded Muddy Colors
Aug 21, 2012Using PSP 9 on Windows 7
Here's my problem. When people upload pics to my website or when they email them to me, I open them (in Internet Explorer) and they are fine. I then save them and open them in PSP 9 to work on. Problem is, for the past month or so, when I open the images in PSP 9, they are dark, muddy, very flat, and lacking in vibrancy. They are very different from what I see in IE.
When I open them in Corel X3 or in Photoshop, they are just fine, so it must be something in PSP9. Could I have unwittingly changed some setting in PSP 9?

Lightroom :: Details Of Photo Showing Up In Develop Mode?
Nov 28, 2012i imported images into LR3 and was about to close the catalog when i got a backup reminder popping up on my screen. so i did the obvious thing and clicked Backup. I later opened the catalog to find to my dismay, details of the each photo showing up in the Develop screen. This doesnt show when viewing in the Library mode though. so each photo has the following details showing on the upper left corner of the image
File Name-8. CR2
date and time
image size
how do i get rid of this unsightly details so i can work on the images?

Lightroom :: How To Read Export Details From JPEG Exported From LR4
Jul 31, 2013I have been playing around with the exporting options to a JPEG file (such as low sharpening, high sharpening, etc.). However I did not track what I was doing diligently as I assumed I could 'read' it later. For example, a particular picture has 4 exports several minutes apart. I can line up each export based on exported name and time stamp. But I can't tell what options I selected during the exporting process. Is there a way to find out what export options I selected for a particular export? No other develop changes were made, just playing around with the export options.
Lightroom :: Tone Curves - Details And Effects Missing In LR5 Develop Mode
Feb 4, 2014I just upgraded to LR 5 from 4. Shortly after starting to use it, I noticed Tone Curves, Details and Effects are all missing in the Develop mode. I re- downloaded and installed with no return of the missing tools. How do I get them back.
Lightroom :: Allow Thumbnails To Show File Size / Name / Rating And Exposure Details All At Once?

Illustrator :: Easiest Way To Create Different Edges For Ellipses (tire Edges)
Jun 18, 2013I thought this was going to be a piece of cake in the new Illustrator CC but I am having a few unanticipated issues:)I need to create some vector tire images with different edges, such as the top one in the image below. So I thought this would be SO easy by simply creating a pattern brush in Illustrator and then using that for the outside. So I created the shape you see in the middle image below and created a pattern brush with this shape.I then created an ellipse and used the new brush for the outline.
All of those are open paths.it has taken the shape and applied it to the outline but has kept each shape separate, so I am not able to fill the circle in black. I could of course go in and manually join each little corner separately where the little shapes meet but this will take FOREVER with all the images I have to do.

Photoshop :: Smooth Edges, But Then Changes To Rough Edges When Saving
Feb 9, 2007I tried the following in Illustrator,
So basically, I created coloured text inside Adobe Illustrator and however much I zoom into the text, the text always appears to have smooth edges. Once I click on 'Save For Web', the edge all around the text becomes rough and aliased. I chose GIF and PNG, but it still happens. The text is on a transparency background. The same problem applies to images when I am creating a logo.

Maya Modeling :: How To Make Border Edges Out Of Edges
![Granite Granite](/uploads/1/3/3/2/133281834/455463083.png)
I'm trying to snap a head with it's neck with the merge edge tool, but somewhere along the way, the edges lost there border edge characteristics and now I can't merge the edges. Is there a way to make the edges back to the way they were?
Photoshop :: CS6 - Any Way To Pan While Zoomed Out?
Nov 8, 2012This is something I found frustrating while using CS4 and never got around to finding out if there was a way around it. Now that I am using CS6 I took a look around the preferences and did not see anything that will allow me to pan around an image while I am viewing the whole image. This becomes rather frustrating when I am working on the edge of a photo and using a brush tool as the way PS is set up pretty much forces me to work right next to my tool bars and more than once I have accidentally clicked on another tool rather than starting my brush stroke off the edge of my work like I want to.
AutoCAD Map 3D :: SDF Changes When Zoomed In And Out?
May 25, 2011The SDF shown below Zoomed In is displayed properly.
The SDF file Zoomed Out one level is missing a portion of the yellow line.
When I zoom out one level, a portion of the SDF does not display. This same portion will not print to DWF either.
If it were a SHP file I would delete the *.IDX file. I tried REGENALL and REFRESHING the SDF file.

Photoshop :: Zoomed In
Sep 12, 2006I have a few pictures that have some small objects in them,I was thinking. Is there anyway to zoom in the object in the image and save it that way?Or cut the object out of the image, create a new one and zoom that one in?
Photoshop :: When Zoomed In, I Can't Use The.
May 3, 2009https://printgreat605.weebly.com/download-rune-factory-4-for-android.html. I've actually been through this on every edition of PS I've used, and now being on CS4, I figure it's time I asked about it finally, lol. Why is it that when I am zoomed in on an image, say 600% magnification or more, my selected tool becomes the guideline creation/drag icon? If I zoom out enough, it changes back to the tool I'm using (i.e. select tool, pen tool, etc.), but whenever I zoom in too much, it will automatically switches to the guideline tool, not allowing me to do anything else. I taught myself PS, and for the most part, I've figured out any problems I've had by searching forums, google, etc., but this has always stumped me. Is there something I need to change in my settings? Or a hotkey I can use to continue using my selected tool while zoomed in?
AutoCad :: Everything Zoomed Out To A Dot?
Dec 2, 2012I was using 'Real time zoom' tool, when my arm slipped on somewhere on the keyboard and something weird happened. All my work which was drawed (plans, elevations, maps.) turned into a 'dot' which is impossible to zoom in or do anything with it (I can move it though) and see the objects. Mysql mac download dmg.
Lightroom :: Jagged / Pixelated Edges On Watermarks
Dec 8, 2012When I export pictures from LR for web the text sometimes come out as expected, but other times it comes out with hard jagged/pixelated edges. I have so far been unable to find a pattern to when this happens, but it has followed me since LR3 on a different PC.
Above shows an example. Proper watermark on top, pixelated on the bottom.
The watermark has been made using a TTF-font from LR. Current system is a fairly highspec PC, win8 and LR4.1 (64-bit).

Photoshop :: Zoomed Pixelation
Sep 26, 2005I have regarding showing pixels on an image? I want to do a series of images that are sharp in the centre and display no pixels (ie a 'normal' sharp photographic image) but that gets more and more 'pixilated' towards the edges so the the size of the pixels increases towards the edge until they are very obviuosly pixelated. I've tried using the mosaic sub filter but that leaves all the visible pixel 'blocks' the same size and I want them to get bigger towards the edges.
AutoCad :: Zoomed In Too Far On Viewport
May 19, 2013In paper space I've zoomed in (whilst outside the viewport) double clicked inside the viewport and now I can't zoom back out again to see the viewport or border! Typing 'ps' doesn't work. (mac)
GIMP :: Panning Especially While Zoomed-in
Jun 27, 2013 I upgraded to the latest and greatest version 2.8. I like most everything about 2.8.x. Generally, I have found the adjustments/transition to the new feature and controls to be a rather easy. However, I am having an issue with panning, while editing. It doesn't matter if I am at 100%, or while zoomed in, or zoomed-out, panning is a problem.
All the way up-to and through versions 2.6.x, while working details, zoomed-in to 800% or so, when I would PAN the image (hold down the Space-bar, hold down the left-mouse, drag the mouse, or while using the vertical and horizontal scroll bars) it was always a smooth image drag/movement. Since the introduction of 2.8.x Panning has become a nightmare. It's extremely choppy with, broken up, and it freezes up for short periods of time, basically it's anything but smooth. The panning feature is a huge step backwards from what I have become accustom to. The problem is I am zoomed-in on whatever it is I am working on at least 95% of the time (cutting, painting, etc.).
Perhaps I am just a creature of habit but I like working at the pixel level. I'd like to get panning working the way it has always worked.

Lightroom :: All Existing Healing Brushes Have Sharp Edges?
Sep 23, 2013after updating from LR 4.4 to 5.2 i have a problem with my existing catalogues: All my existing pictures with healing brushes in it now have sharp edges instead of the edges they had in LR 4.4 by default. I used the brush often, so the main part of my work looks deformed now in LR 5.2.
Lightroom :: Can't Use Crop / Rotate Tool By Pulling Edges
Mar 7, 2012I am currently in the process of testing LR4 and use a LR3 library that I converted to LR4.
If I rotate an image from (or to) landscape/portrait I cannot use the crop/rotate tool anymore by pulling the edges. The control sliders work, but not the active corners. If I put the image back to the original position, things work like a charm.

Photoshop :: Color Banding In CS6 While Zoomed Out
Oct 19, 2012I have a problem with color banding in Photoshop CS6 while zoomed out, even though I am working in 16 bit. Here is a crop of the same area of a .psd while open in Photoshop CS6 (left) and in Illustrator CS5 (right).
The banding is quite apparent in PS while not present in Illustrator. At 100% zoom there is little banding in PS, and converting to 8 bit makes it look markedly worse. However at 25% zoom (which these crops were taken at) converting to 8 bit makes no visible difference, making me think that Photoshop's zoom is working at 8 bit for some reason.
Since the image looks fine in Illustrator I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with my display, or graphics card/driver. I've tried changing the color profile (currently set to Adobe RGB) in Photoshop without effect. I've also tried changing the 'Graphics Processor' level in Photoshop, including disabling it entirely, as well as reducing the cache level to '1' without effect either. I'm not quite sure why Illustrator is able to handle the image so nicely at all zoom levels while Photoshop introduces all this banding.

Photoshop :: Shortcut To Navigate Around While Zoomed In?
Apr 8, 2012 I remember using a shortcut to navigate around while zoomed in. Lifeline phone program for low income. It works this way: while zoomed in a document i press a shortcut key, PS zooms out and gives me the overview of the document, then while keeping the shortcut pressed i hover the area where i want to go next and release the shortcut keys, then PS zoomes the area i selected.
Paint Shop Pro :: X6 - Panning While Zoomed In
How To Make Rough Edges On Granite
Nov 14, 2013I have PSP Pro X6 64bits french with the lastest service pack installed. I tried this:
Zoom in a picture that's bigger than the screenInsert a vector object (ellipse for example)Switch to the 'move' tool and try to move the shape to the top of the picture. I went too far towards the top and I went beyond it. As I lost it, and after having zoomed out, I went back one step in the 'Undo' list to retrieve itThat's where weird reaction are beginning: the refresh system is somewhat lost: I have to zoom out/in with the mouse to force a refresh. Sometimes, I move the object and it seems to jump back

AutoCAD Map 3D :: ECW Image Moving When Zoomed?
Aug 11, 2011I have a drawing that contains an ecw image inserted through FDO. The image appears in the correct location when plotted at a smaller scale 1'=100', but when printing a larger area at say 1'=2000' the image is not in the correct location. It appears to be shifted when compared to linework that is present in the drawing. The shift is about 100'.
One of the first image editing feats you’ll want to master is putting two images together and creating a composite image. So, you will have to learn how to select an image, remove it from its background, and also smooth the hard edges of that selection so that it doesn’t look like a cutout.
Photoshop CC 2018 helps a lot here with its improved Select and Mask feature. Here’s how it can help you make quick selections and smooth edges in double time.
How to Extract a Photo With Select and Mask
The new Select and Mask option in the menu will take you to a separate workspace and give you the controls to finetune any selections. The workspace also replaces the Refine Edge dialog in earlier versions of Photoshop:
- Open your image in Photoshop CC 2018.
- Go to Select > Select And Mask.
You can also use Ctrl + Alt + R (Windows) or Cmd + Option + R (Mac) as keyboard shortcuts. Or pick a selection tool like Quick Selection, Magic Wand, or Lasso, and then click Select And Mask in the Options bar on top. - The Select and Mask user interface will now help you make precise selections with the selection tools on the left. The Properties panel on the right will help refine that selection further.
- The View mode options (for instance, Onion skin or the Overlay) will help preview the selection and separate it from its background. Use the Opacity slider to see what you need to add or subtract from your selection.
- Pick up the Quick Selection brush from the tools panel and click-drag over the area you want to select. You don’t need to be too precise because the brush works intuitively. Leave it to the Refine Edge brush.
- The Refine Edge brush tool helps to include fuzzy areas like hair or fur. Use the bracket keys to increase and decrease the brush size when you make the selections.
- Use the Brush tool to improve the selection. The Add and Subtract mode allows you to control what you want to select or leave out.
For many images, you can stop right here. But the four Global Refinement settings can work their magic too and make your selection better. Play around with the four sliders to smooth the edges of an image:
- Smooth: Renders a smoother outline for the selection.
- Feather: Softens the transition between the selection and the background.
- Contrast: When increases, the soft edge transition becomes crisper.
- Shift Edge: Move a soft selection edge inwards or outwards to remove unwanted pixels.

When you are done, go to Output to. Choose the kind of document you want your selection to be. Click OK and Photoshop returns you to the main workspace.
